This cake was ordered for my friend Ed by his wonderful wife, Lindis, for his 40th birthday.  She wanted to have a little figure of him on the cake in his work overalls, chopping down trees with a chainsaw.  This cake was a great success, especially since their little son spent the day of the party posing like the little figure on daddy’s cake

The cake itself is a 9″ chocolate biscuit cake, covered with sugarpaste.
