This cake was ordered by Lindis for her dad’s 60th birthday.  He is mad about gardening, and his vegetable garden, so she asked me to make a cake with neat little rows of vegetables.  He’s kneeling in the middle of his vegetable patch, surrounded by tiny little handmade potatoes, carrots and cabbages (which I think look very like brussel sprouts, but I suppose that IS what tiny cabbages would be?!)

The cake itself is a 9″ chocolate biscuit cake, covered with sugarpaste.
