This cake was for Harry and Caroline’s 40th Wedding Anniversary.  Their daughter ordered it as a surprise for their party.  Harry absolutely loves swimming and gardening, and Caroline is very into nutrition and superfoods, and is always working on her laptop.  So I designed a ruby-coloured cake with Harry swimming in a little pool with goggles on, and Caroline beside the pool working on her laptop, surrounded by piles of vegetables.  And they’re holding hands… very cute

The cake itself is a 9″ chocolate sponge, with vanilla buttercream filling, covered in chocolate ganache and sugarpaste.  All the tiny sugar vegetables and the figurines are completely edible.
