This cute little fairy cake was for my cousin Sarah, who adores fairies.  It’s all very pink and girlie – the little fairy is sitting pretty on top of a 7-inch truffle cake.  This is chocolate sponge, madeira cake and buttercream all mixed together.  Very sweet and yummy!  The little fairy is handmade from sugarpaste and her wings are rice paper, so she’s completely edible   And she’s surrounded by pink and white flowers.
