This cake was for two friends from Raheny who were both celebrating their 21st birthdays at the same time.  I was asked to put little figurines of the two girls on there – one of them loves all things pink and the other is a singer, so she has a microphone in her hand and sheets of music behind her.  This was a fun cake to make, with all the little details –  I was very happy with the sheets of music   I also put the numbers “21″ standing up behind the girls, and the icing on the cake was marbled with pink and red, and dotted with little silver stars.

The cake itself was a 9″ chocolate biscuit cake, covered with white chocolate ganache and sugarpaste.  All the little figurines and decorations on top are handmade and completely edible.
