Independence Day cake

I made this cake for a 4th of July barbecue in honour of our American friends.  Yes, there are 50 little stars on there…  The cake itself was a 13″ x 9″ Red Velvet cake with white chocolate ganache filling.  It is also covered in white chocolate ganache and sugarpaste.


Starry 21st Cake

Karen in Lucan ordered this 2-tier cake for her 21st birthday.  She wanted dark pink on the bottom tier, with black stripes, and brighter pink on the top tier with black stars.  And stars and the number “21″ bursting out of the top!  I made the numbers from cardboard and painted them with edible glitter [...]

This Christening cake was ordered for baby Conor for his Christening in Newbridge.  His mum is Irish, his father is English, and they are currently living in Sweden – so she wanted small flags for the 3 countries on it.  Conor’s name is on a blue banner across the cake, along with a handmade toy [...]
