This cake was ordered for the radio DJ  and TV present Ray Foley by Sideline Productions.  They are producing a new TV show called Take Me Out,which Ray will be presenting.  As it was Ray’s 30th birthday, they asked me to make him with a cake with the Take Me Out logo, the Sideline logo, and a little figurine of Ray dressed up as Cupid.  This is my first “famous” cake as it was featured on the Today FM website here http://www.todayfm.com/Shows/Weekdays/Ray-Foley/Birthday.aspx and in various Irish newspapers today!

The cake itself is an 8-inch chocolate biscuit cake, covered with chocolate ganache and sugarpaste.
