I made this cake for my father-in-law’s birthday. He loves doing crosswords, and is a big music fan. So the obvious thing to make was a crossword cake!
The cake itself was an 8-inch lemon and ginger cake – a beautiful moist type of cake, that would be ideal for Christmas or Wedding cakes!
