This Christening cake was ordered for Méabh by her mother, Ciara, in Leixlip.  I handmade little pink sugar booties for the top of the cake, and decorated the two tiers with little stars swirling around the cake.  Méabh’s name is on building blocks on the cake board.

The cake itself was a 9-inch chocolate biscuit cake, topped with a 7-inch lemon sponge filled with lemon buttercream, and covered with sugarpaste.
