This was a fairly unusual cake.  It was ordered by Sarah in Dublin for her brother Tom’s 21st birthday party.  Apparently Tom was a big fan of a nightclub called BarCode, so she asked me to make him a cake with a barcode on it! 

The cake itself is an 8-inch vanilla sponge, filled with orange buttercream, covered with orange buttercream and sugarpaste.
