Friends of ours, Frank and Gerardette, have just opened a new café in Kilmainham.  Check it out at www.limetreecafe.net  I made this cake for their launch party.  I piped the café logo on to the cake, and it was a huge hit at the party.

The cake itself is an 8-inch lime-flavoured sponge filled with lime buttercream, and covered with lime buttercream and sugarpaste.
