This cake was ordered by Alan and Charis for their daughter Chloe’s Confirmation. Chloe had a party to celebrate, and her favourite band is JLS. Since she’s such a huge fan, her parents thought a JLS cake would be a bigger surprise than a traditional confirmation cake. So I covered the cake in black sugarpaste, crimped the edges around the top, and put the JLS logo on top of the cake. Chloe was delighted!

The cake itself was an 8-inch chocolate cake with chocolate chips, triple-layered with chocolate ganache, and covered in chocolate ganache and sugarpaste.
