Anne’s shoes, handbag and guitar cake

Richie ordered this cake for his girlfriend Anne’s 30th birthday.  She adores shoes and Betsey Johnson handbags, and bought a pair of shoes recently that were scuffed, so the little shoes that I handmade had a little scuff on them too!  I also made a guitar for the top of the cake.Â

Hawaiian birthday cake

My next-door neighbour Sharon ordered this birthday cake.  Her 11-year-old son Ciarán and his aunt both share the same birthday and always celebrate jointly.  They were having a Hawaiian-themed party, and asked me to make a cake that would fit in with the theme.  I covered the cake in cream-coloured sugarpaste and added some golden [...]

Lauren’s Christening cake with Mary-Jane shoes
