Carmel ordered this Christening cake for baby Georgia.  The cake was a 10-inch vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream, covered in white sugarpaste.  I handmade the pink Converse booties from modelling paste.  They can be removed from the cake and kept as keepsakes afterwards.  I also made some pretty bunting for around the cake, pinned up by little flowers, I think this cake is pretty cute!
