Owen in Tallaght ordered this cake for his daughter Lucy’s Christening.  I made little models of the mum, dad, baby and dog from modelling paste, so they are completely edible.  Mum is looking lovingly in at the baby in a moses basket.  Dad is busy shushing their beagle dog.   I also made little soothers / pacifiers from modelling paste and put Lucy’s name on them.

The top tier is a 6″ chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream, and the bottom tier is an 8″ vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream.
